Check out the device Manager if not showing any mark against USB printer device, check the Printer port and any related entries.
Let me know after this.. If you are using Vista then it may trouble you to connect printer.

I need internet on my dsi

Well, have you done the homework?

1. DSI needs WiFi, ie, wireless internet. Do you have a wireless router or wireless modem router in your place?
2. If yes, have you enabled the wireless radio in the router. This can be done by opening up the router options by typing the IP Address of the router (it should be somewhere written in the router itself) and login. If you don't know the password, google your model number and you will get all information like default ip address, login etc. If possible download the manual from the manufacturer website and go through it to familiarize the options. (If you have an apple router, you will need "airport utility"..google).
3. Once logged in as "admin", look for "wireless" options (Manual will help you), enable "radio", "ssid", note down the ssid name, and for troubleshooting purposes, leave the security "off/disabled". Save/apply changes.
4. Make sure wireless "G" is selected or a mode thats compatible with wireless "G" (go through the options, mostly default option will suffice). If this is in another page, again, save or apply changes.
5. Reboot the router, wait for a couple of minutes till the lights for internet and wireless appears.
6. From DSI, search for available networks, find the ssid name that you have noted down and click connect.
7. Hopefully, it should connect, otherwise, you may have to manually enter DSI IP Adress, subnet mask (255.255.255.0), gateway and dns servers (both router IP Adress). If your router address is, say 192.168.1.1, then give dsi an ip adress 192.168.1.xx where xx is a number between 2 and 255. That is, what ever ur router ip address is, just change the last digits to anything under 255, excluding the router address. Now try again, hopefully everything should be settled.
8. Look into DSI manual to see whether it supports wpa/wpa2 security or just WEP. You may also have to take into consideration any other devices that connect to router wirelessy, like laptops, smart phones, tablets etc. If all of them supports wpa/wpa2, go back to router options and select that security, create password, write it down. Otherwise select "WEP" encrryption. (The point to remember here is the lowest common denominator, ie, if DSI supports only WEP, selecting WPA/WPA2 will be useless, as DSI will not connect, even if it sees the SSID.
9. Save changes, reboot router, wait for lights to steady.
10. From DSI, again select your SSID name from available networks (just to make things easier, shut down DSI, restart to disconnect earlier connections), it will ask for password or both password and security type. If DSi supports WPA/WPA2, and ur security is set as such, and DSI is not connecting, play with the options, if any, like "WPA only", WPA2 only" WPA/WPA2" and try to connect.

You should succeed with this much details. Good luck

My wi fi orange light is blinking on my lexmark x4650 printer

The blinking WiFi light on your printer indicates either your printer is trying to communicate with your wireless network or your printer is not connected at all. For a quick fix, try to disconnect your printer from the power outlet. Power cycle your router and reboot your computer. Then, power on your router first, then your printer and lastly your computer. Check the WiFi light on your printer. If it goes to a solid green, that means you are connected back in your network. If not, you may reset your printer's wireless network adapter to its default settings. From the printer operator panel, press the Setup button > Network Setup > Reset Network Adapter to Default. The WiFi light on your printer will momentarily turn off then back on solid orange. Then try to run the Lexmark Wireless Setup Utility on your computer to reconfigure your printer to connect to your wireless network.
I hope this helps.

Blinking orange light where tghe wifi is

The light indicates that the printer's trying to connect to a wireless network. If the blinking wifi light has been going on for quite some time now but connection is still not going through, you will need to reset the printer's wireless network adapter. To reset the network adapter on Lexmark X6570, press Settings button > Network Setup > Wireless Setup > Reset Network Adapter to Factory Defaults. The wifi light will momentarily turn off then on and should be solid orange then. Try to reconnect the printer for wireless connection.
