Hello do you have a windows installation cd ? start with your windows cd and first screen that appears you gets 2 choices, enter or R press R repair mode. then a console should appear and write in that console fixboot c: "press enter" fixmbr c: "press enter" and restart your computer. then it should fix the error.
I think your harddisk have errors and I suggest you run some harddisk check program and replaces your disk if its broken.

I assume it's Windows 7. Check that the BIOS is set to boot from CD/DVD as the first boot device and then put the Windows installation disk into the drive. If done correctly then the PC should boot from the CD/DVD and then just follow the on screen instructions (follow the instructions and select the repair option).
First make sure that all usb devices are unplugged and remove all cd's or dvd's or sd cards etc. If you are running Windows 7 or Vista you can try do a repair by hitting F8 while it boots and then select repair. If this does not work you will need a install disc. If you have Windows XP you will need an install CD to do a repair. I have attached a few links that may help explain in detail. Thanks for using fixya.
Try this:
1. First you need Vista Recovery Disk .iso file. Can be downloaded here: [redacted] 2. Then you probably need image burning program. I prefer CD Burner XP >http://cdburnerxp.se/download.php 3. When you have installed CD Burner XP, start program, choose "Burn ISO image" and browse to Vista Recovery Disk.iso file. 4. When program has finished to burn ISO image, put CD into PC with "boot mgr is missing" problem. 5. Re-start PC, press F2 2-3 times, go into BIOS Setup Utility, choose Boot, move CD/DVD unit up to the first line with F6. Press F10 , choose YES. 6. Click this link to find out what to press when PC boots from CD:http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/fixing-bootmgr-is-missing-error-while-trying-to-boot-windows-vista/

Hi, I hope you have a windows installation disc? you will need it, I searched for a Links with the step by step instructions to repair your windows Boot MGR missing
Boot Manager is missing
If the boot partition no longer can be found, then Vista will display the following error:
BOOTMGR is missing. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart
The Windows Boot Configuration Data file is missing required information
More Info MS KB 919529
More Info MS KB 927391
Check points for fixing missing boot-manager:
Check that your boot device is configured properly
Boot into Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) and perform a "Startup Repair".
Boot Manager is compressed
If by accident having compressed the entire boot partition, then Vista will display the following error:
BOOTMGR is compressed. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart
OR maybe try this first.
Check points for fixing compressed boot-manager:
Boot into Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) and perform a "Startup Repair".
If the above doesn't solve the problem then boot into WinRE again, but when selecting the Vista-installation, then press "Load Drivers" (Instead of "Next") and use the mini Windows Explorer to right-click the boot-drive and deselect "Compress this Drive" and choose Apply to sub-folders and files.
If that also fails then boot into WinRE again, and go to the "Command Prompt" and execute these commands:
compact /U C:\bootmgr
compact /U C:\ntldr
If you for some strange reason have lost your Vista DVD, then you can also use a Windows 2000 / XP install CD and enter the recovery console instead and execute the following commands:
attrib -c c:\bootmgr
attrib -c c:\ntldr
Try start up in Safe Mode press F8. Choose Safe Mode, when at the choice window, to select either Safe Mode Desktop, OR System Restore, chooses system restore and choose a time before you had the "Problem" and follow instructions. This should get you back.
