Antivirus xp 2008? yes it a fraud / scam, it will ask you to pay for the program over and over again even if you pay for it multiple times.

just google the name of the software

antivirus xp 2008 should come up with removeal instructions or which scam you got?

Yeah thats the best choice, or install into another folder. I removed it by hand from my laptop ones, deleted the files removed registry entrys etc.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

You'll need to start your computer in "safe-mode". Your other option is to make a bootable usb drive with Unetbootin. You'll need to use a different computer for this. This will enable you to save your files and then reinstall a new operating system (xp, vista or 7).

For you to remove Virus from your Laptop, you must have an Antivirus software running on your laptop. I will recommend Avira Antivirus, its know to remove most viruses. Download the free version, install it on your laptop and run a virus scan on your system with it. This will remove the virus from your system.

CSRCS.exe

Hello,

My research of that file name indicates it is most likely a trojan of some sort. If it is missing, your antivirus probably removed it.

To remove the message, open MSConfig and goto the startup tab. Uncheck the item associated with CSRCS.exe

If you have windows 2000 you will need to find a copy of MSConfig from the internet.

Good Luck.

Registry editor,task manager not opening

Hi, Yes, you are right !, your system is infected with a serious virus and you cannot use your computer unless you remove the visus.
This problem happens when there is no updated antivirus running.
To fix it, download/ aquire MacAfee antivirus and its latest update.
Boot the system to safe mode, and install the macAfee and update. Run the scanner and remove the virus.
Try and let me know if its not succeeded.

thank you

Virus

You can try an online virus scan solution:

for example here: http://housecall65.trendmicro.com/

otherwise, it might be a simple problem caused by the wrong association of file types and programs to open them.
Seems that somehow your association table got broken.
I dont know any automatic way of solving this ( it is easy to do by hand, but a tedious work)

think about doing a re-install of your windows.
ps: Remember to create a ghost image of the OS for later rescue. it saves alot of time.
