Go to this website and select windows 7(32) or (64) depends on what version you are using then on the categories select sound and click Realtek Audio Driver for Windows 7 (32/64)(v188.8.131.5204; 09-03-2009; 60.61M) then click the red download now button to start downloading the driver. After downloading, install the driver that you have downloaded to update the sound driver of your laptop. If prompted for a restart, restart your computer then check your computer for a sound.
If the driver you downloaded will not fix the audio problem, you have to return to it's original operating system (windows vista) of your laptop by reformatting from a clean installation using windows vista installer.
Installation of Windows 7 is not supported by Toshiba for laptops made
prior to 2007. Have a nice day.
It sounds like either you bought a computer which came with a vista disc, or the store didnt properly install windows Vista so i would advise you to go see your local retailer and talk to a license salesman, and see what they can do. You should get vista free of charge and installation fee should be free also.
Hope this helps ^^. Please dont forget to rate, Thanks
it depends on your operating system your using ex. windows xp pro, windows 98SE,vista,linux,ubunto...in xp click start-all programs-accessories-system tools-system restore from their choose a restore point to an earlier time before that problem occurs
If you have a Toshiba Recovery CD you may be able to install XP, otherwise :-
You need a Windows XP installation CD together with the installation Product code.
To install Windows XP insert the CD in the laptop and boot up with the CD and follow the screen instructions.
you have to use a standard windows start up disk with cd rom support like win 98 works well so the computer will recognize a older version then insert it and boot the computer with the operating system that u want to install but be advised if you have a warranty on the machine you will void the waranty i found out the hard way i had xp on my toshiba laptop and i put windows me on it couple of months later i had a cd rom issue and sent it to the manufacture and found out that the waranty was voided because i put a different operating system on the machine
