Depending on the age of your TV, there may be some manual adjustments as well. You can usually find these adjustments behind a piece of trim that is between your screen and speaker house on the front side. But as I mentioned... this is only on older units as the newer units have internal convergence
PCBs that do it all through your remote control as mention by Hardrocko.

I have a Sony KP-51WS500. To pull up the adjustment mode, turn off you tv then on the remote press Display,"5" button, "+" on the volume, and the power with in a second. Your TV should come on with GReen letters. After that press 1 and 4, 2 and 5 to change menus. Go to PJE (or something like that) and you should see PJE GREEN CENT, SKEW, SIZE etc. Press 3 to change colors, 6 to bring up the cross hatch and 9 to bring up fine tunning. Line each color up with the white boxes with the menu nipple thing. Press mute to write your changes then switch the TV on and off. Good luck.

Go to menu. Select either video or setup. Select convergence. There could be one or two setups. Try the automatic setup first. If it's just a minor problem this should work. Let it do it's thing and if all goes ok you should have a good picture. If this does not solve the problem do any other convergence setups available. If this does not solve the problem you probably have a bad digital convergence box. Less than $100 part but you'll need a tech to fix it.

I had a problem with my TV colors not lining up. One day I turned it on and the green was out of wack. I checked this message board and replaced the STK chips, bad soldering and all led to me just giving up on that and buying a whole new Convergence Board ($185). I replaced the missing silver box on the new board and I just plugged this in and though now my Green lines up okay, my red is out of whack. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Can anyone help me? Did i miss a step? Frustrated......Bruce

Always consult service literature for convergence and/or geometry procedures unless your experience is accurately memorized through
frequent use. Ex.==SONY== press mute, then ENTER
to write changes in memory.

A single-color mis-convergence problem is not the DCU.
The blue convergence amplifier IC is at fault---let me know if you
are still interested in repair procedure specific to your make and model-----I can detail step by step, just let me know.....T.

service literature will tell you how to adjust
geometry and convergence in servicer mode.Just having the entry code is not enough info to
complete alignment to near 100%.Senior tech skill level needed.
