ImageMixer 1.7 for camera JVC does not work with Vista

Hello,
i have a video camera JVC GR-D73 (4 years old) and used ImageMixer 1.7 on PC with Windows XP. No problem with this configuration.
I have a new PC with Vista and ImageMixer does not work. I have tried with Windows Movie Maker, but it does not work.
Is there a solution to transfert my video from the camera to my PC ?

I had exactly the same problem. I was using a USB cable, as I had done with Windows XP. However, when I tried using a DV cable instead it worked no problem at all, and i was able to use Windows Movie Maker, so no need to install ImageMixer. Hope this helps. Tony
