The volume of ear piece of nokia 5233 is very low, is there any solution to this problem, i can barely listen to the callers voice.. mind you my ears are perfectly alright !!!!

First of all clean the pores of the earpiece just in case there is block on the passage of sound fromt he earpiece speaker.
If this wont improve then the speaker must be changed after confirmation with a new one.

N73 low sound for top loud speaker and earpiece when calling

HI, when a cell phone has Low sound for top loud speaker and earpiece when calling , it is when the loud speaker and the earpiece are weak to perform accurately and will need to be replace for better sound quality for your cell phone.

When a phone drops on the flow or water gets into it,might cause the hearing of the lod speaker sound to go weaker and weaker every time.

When you replace the ear piece and the speaker, you phone will work perfectly again.

If when you replace the speaker and soundisstillthe same , that means it's an IC chip problem inside the cell phone . An expert will help you on that.

Hope it helped.

Thanks for using fixya.

The ear piece used to cut in and out now it doesn't work at all. Is this a fixable problem if so how?

Sounds to me like you might have a loose connection or broken wire to the speaker on the earpiece. It MIGHT be fixable dependent on your skills with a soldering iron however I've found through experience that most often times these fixes don't last and you'd be better of replacing anyways.

If you feel comfortable with trying you could open the case up until you get to the component level and see if you can find the faulty wire. I would imagine that it would be either where it connects to the speaker or to the main board. I wouldn't hold out much hope of repairing it though.

Gateway- built-in laptop Speakers not working

Seems to me the speaker is just plain broken. You'll need a new one, contact your vendor for repairs, or you will have to live with using external speakers/earpieces...

I hope you will get your replacement,
Yannick.

Dropped in water

I got my i870 from my sister a week ago, i got it for boost mobile but the ear speaker doesnt work either, i took it apart and i ordered the flip part of the phone which comes with the whole top section. It should work after i put the new part. it was only $26 off of ebay. the parts were only held up five screws. really easy but you have to be careful and gentle.

Ear piece does not work. Station top light does not come on

The 500A base station is definitely compatible with the 510 earpiece. If the earpiece is turned off or unpaired the base station's red power light will be flashing. If the earpiece is already off, try turning it on by holding down the little black button on top. The base station will automatically try to find the earpiece and the blue light on top of the base will come on. If the earpiece is already on (slow flashing blue light on the mic boom) turn it off and back on again and wait for the base to find it.
