How to keep your juicer from jumping all over the place.

I have found celery is the big problem, instead of putting in the whole stalk cut
it into small 2 inch pieces, when I do this I have no problem, otherwise my
juicer is jumping all over the counter. I believe it is the long strings in the
celery that somehow gets caught around the parts. At least it has made
juicing a pleasure for me. Hope it works for you.

Using only 1 apple cut up into small pieces,3 stalks of celery and 10 small carrots, BEFORE I even get half way through, the machine is making such a racket because it has not distributed the pulp evenly, I have to hold my hand down hard in order to even finish juicing. I have bought a new blade, but did not help. I bought it new from amazon, but they would not help AT ALL. WHAT CAN I DO???????

No insult intended, but if you're not mechanically
inclined forget about it. I've had one for 21 years
and a new blade makes it vibrate worse. if you

sometimes it will spin out of control the lid pops off and its scary! This seems to happen when I juice cucumbers even though I take the seeds out. Yesterday I juiced lettuce leaves, celery (2 sticks), apple (1/2), and a small cucumber that I deseeded. I put everything in but the second half of cucumber caused the machine to jump around and spin on the countertop, popping the lid off. It makes me not want to use the juicer. I use a filter each time. Could it be that there is too much pulp? The above ingredients aren't that many and it seems like it shouldn't do this.

DROP THE FILTERS. FRUITS AND VEGETABLES HAVE TO BE FED SLOW
AND STEADY. IF THE JUICER IS OLD THE
GAP BETWEEN BLADE AND CHUTE MAY
BE TO WIDE LETTING LARGER PIECES
THRU AND THROWING IT OUT OF
BALANCE. USING ONE FOR 19 YEARS
AND THEY ARE TRICKY.

Looking for downloadable juice extractor book

BOOK CALLED "JUICING FOR LIFE" AT AMAZON.
TRY 2 CARROTS, 1 APPLE, 2 CELERY STALKS
AND A HALF LEMON. ALSO IF JUICER BREAKS,
GO FOR SOMETHING BETTER LIKE AN ACME.
HAVE ONE SINCE 1990.
