3. Menu 2, select "Inkjet"
4. Menu 3, select "PIXMA MP210"
5. Press the "Go" button
6. Under "Drivers/Software Selection", select your operating system from the menu
7. Under "Drivers", download your printer driver.
8. Install the driver you downloaded.

your canon mp210 came with 2 hardrive discs try both. If this still did not work go on to the canon website and find your model of your printer then go on drivers and downloads. find your OS

After downloading is finished, unplug the printer USB and run the software that you downloaded.
The software installer will tell you when to connect USB.

The MP210 does not support Win98, and Win2000 driver doesn't work with Win98... so it's impossible to use this printer with an OS older than Win2000.
