Question about PC Desktops
You forgot to mention the full model of the drive. Either way, you must partition and format the drive (normally) before use. If the drive is not registering in your bios, make sure to check that the cables are firmly seated. If the hard drive is a SATA hard drive, then you may want to try another cable (I've had problems with some SATA cables).
If the hard drive is used, or even new, it could be defective. I hope this helps. If not, I would appreciate more information on the situation so I can help you more.
