Uncheck the songs you don't want on your ipod. When you sync it, they wont be on there.

I hope this helps. Please rate this solution.

Try deleting your songs this way

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, etc. from MP3 Player
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal
Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that
you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want,
release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now your mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

Keep getting Data Error: Cyclic Redunancy Check - cannot get any music onto it anymore. There are currently no songs on it, I deleted them all to put new ones on then got the error.

You may have to format the MP3 Player. Hate to say that. This is due to write problems (not your fault, it is just the way of things computerized) that came from deleting the files. It does not happen often, it just happens.

HOWEVER, try this first..

1. Remove the battery
2. Press and hold "Play"
3. Plug it into the USB port
4. Release "Play"
5. Try to put the songs on there.

If 1-5 do not work, then download the firmware and reinstall it from RCA (search TH1602-A (or whatever model number you have)).

I can't delete music from my Sansa e260

You can remove content on the Sansa itself by highlighting the song you want to delete, then down click and select "Delete" while the song is highlighted.

Also, there is a setting within the software on the PC that you can change to prevent the Sansa from automaticaly syncing if you don't want it to do that.

Player skips songs

I think you should ask yourself these questions: 1) Are the song formats compatible with your MP3 player? 2) Is it possible that the website(s) you downloaded them from had/have given you faulty songs? 3) Am I smart enough to figure ot without PC Geek's help that I might need to try to download a different song on the same computer, the same songs on a different computer, or a different song on a different computer? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should have your solution.
