I would try putting your videos on a flash drive, under a mp4, avi, or wmv format. If you are trying to play regular DVD's that you own then there should not be an issue, most in car DVD players read the format of legitimate DVD's. If you need help learning how to convert video files, dont worry, I put a link below.

Hi, The problem may be with, 1. Graphics driver installed in your laptop 2. The Video file which you are trying to play may got corrupted. 3. The player you are using to play the vedio may not have proper codec to play the file solutions: 1. Reinstall the graphics driver for your laptop 2. Try playing some other vedio files 3. Install VLC player and try playing using this player as it supports most of the vedio formats and even plays corrupted vedio files. I hope this is helpful to you.

The files on your camcorder should be mpeg files, unless you finalized the disc. A finalized disc should play on any dvd player. DVD-R disc work with all DVD players, DVD+R disc only work with some DVD players.

If you have Adobe flash player on your computer and you get the message on youtube to download the latest version of Adobe or turn on your Java in place of the video you want to watch, then look at your toolbar at the top of the screen and if there is a pink bar that says the website wants to run an Add On for Adobe flashplayer then click on it and select Allow Add On or Blocked content and the video should run fine.
