Question about Krups Bravo Plus 872 Espresso Machine

1 Answer

I have a Krups expresso machine that is still working very well but I have lost the little plastic thing that fits onto the stem next to the nozzle that emits the steam. Do you have any spare parts for this particular machine? The machine is about three to four years old. Where can I buy this item and how much? I live at 10 Grange Rd Airport West 3042 Australia.

Hi, Can you please give me some indications regarding how to replace the boiler gasket on a Krups expresso machine E8050. I have removed all the covers/housing of the machine and I have 360 degree...

E8050 does not exist in the Krups info I have, EA8050 does though. You need to remove the tamping piston and unhook all the wires from off the PCB on the side. Then the boiler assembly is attached to the base with 3 screws. This will allow you to tip the boiler over enough to get access to the screw up through the bottom that holds that plastic flange thing on the bottom of the ejection rod while you at the same time have another screwdriver in the screw from the top into the only screw that you see inside the boiler. One of the screws will come undone, it doesn't matter which one. That will allow you to remove the shaft that the seal you are trying to replace fits around. It is called a Barista seal part number MS5015004

My Karcher 2400 Pressure Washer will not syphon cleaning fluid. I have a reconditioned machine and the syphon for cleaning fluid has not worked for a while.Everything looks clean but still does not work'...

The black tip nozzle puts the right amount of pressure on the line to draw up the cleaning solution.

If your power washer is like mine, the cleaning fluid adapter is a 'T shaped' brass valve that fits in-line along the hose line.
There is a brass stem sticking out.
The stem has a tiny ball valve on the end.
A plastic hose fits onto the stem, and the plastic hose goes into bucket of cleaner.
As water travels through power washer hose, it creates suction that draws cleaning solution through the tiny ball valve.

The brass ball valve gets clogged or wears out ... we used to replace the stem every so often.
Sherwin Williams used to carry a replacement stem ... but they may not sell little parts any more.
It's been 14 years since I used the suction device.
I got fed up with the thing not working.

We changed over to a pump-up hand-held sprayer for applying cleaning chemical.
The pump-up puts more chemical on the spots where you need it.
So one guy puts chemical on, and second guy comes behind with power washer ... no more replacement parts, and one tip stays in the gun so we never lose a tip.
A pump-up sprayer is half the cost of replacing the T-shaped valve.
Duh-simple is the business model.
