well i can rule the lint and vent out because that things is clean as can be. i will check the element for continuity and where is the thermostat located? on the element it has two red wires connected on the side of the element. is this the spot to check for continuity?

With the dryer unplugged 220v is not fun
with a meter, and first disconnecting cables to each component and reconnecting them after the test is complete
check the continuity of the element, it may have burned out
check continuity of the thermostats on the heater housing and fan housing,
check the interior of the fan body for sox and lint

not a solution, yet

yes, disconnect one cable going to each device, so that other parts of the circuit dont affect the meter, then stick an ohmmeter across each device

thermostats vary in location, they are on fan housing, exhaust duct, heater housing, fan body, in different models

look for objects similar in appearance to

or some have 3 cables, some 2

No heat from wtmc3300us Bosch dryer. Pushed reset and the heater started working. Next load and no heat. If it tripped the overload again, what now?

Looks like you may have an over heat problem. Look for a problem with your vent system and pipes. If its partially blocked you will trip the heater over temp thermostat.

Where do I find the reset button on my Bosch Nexxt 500 series dryer? The dryer will run, but no heat is coming out.

Have a Nexxt 3300 and believe yours is about the same so yes, several screws to remove from the back. Top also has to come off because two screws to the back are under the top. And for the top to come off the control panel has to be pulled away. Only four screws under four white caps to remove for panel to be loosened. The top is attached with two screws in the back and four nylon clips under the top. The red reset button will be easy to see after removing the back. It is attached to the heating element housing. It is not hard to do, just a pain to get to the reset button. I have the Bosch Nexxt Dryer and it keeps throwing the thermal switch. Does that mean the switch is going out or does that mean the heating element is going out.

it probably means there is an airflow issue (not enough to cool the heating element) either coming into the drier or going out. I would probably check the lint trap and hose leaving the drier

Bosch Nexxt Electric dryer tumbling but not heating up at all, I here rumors of a reset switch. Where is it located?

Unplug the dryer first. Then remove the back cover on the dryer. You will find the red reset button underneath the dryer drum. If the button has been tripped, you will feel and hear it click when you press it in. I would suggest that you vacuum out any dust or lint that has collected inside the unit before replacing the cover.

I have a Bosch Nexxt WTMC 3300 electric dryer. The dryer doesn't heat up. This is the second time this has happened over a one year period. The first time it happened, the technician reset the thermal cutoff, but said he saw no reason why it should have tripped. Can you tell me how to reset the thermal cutoff or offer another solution?

I just had the same problem, motor runs but no heat. I had a fun time figuring out how take the front panel off, hint the rubber seal comes off easily. It looks like mine tripped the resettable over heat sensor. So far so good.
