Is Admin the only account on the machine?

Did you get the original install disks with the computer?

Agreed that reinstalling XP will resolve the problem.
If the CD drive is broken, replacements are cheap. You can pick up used ones for $5, you can get new DVD burners for $24 (I just bought 30 of them).

The problem we are faced with here, is we do not know the complete situation there. We have had instances where people have tried to hack into systems admin accounts, and we cannot be held responsible (so please understand our side of the question, this is detailed in the TOU). So only a hands-on situation would confirm this.
There is software that does password cracks (just do a search for that) but the results are never 100% guaranteed. There is no "magic" code that allows you to bypass the admin password. That's why I asked if there were other accounts installed. If you have an admin equalivant in another account, you can change the admin password through the computer advanced management section.

Now you did say you are trying to update it? As in the patch updates? Or something else?

I took my daughter off of administrator before i got to make myself the administrator now i cant download anything and i am restricted to certain things what do i do

the problem is that you took your daughter off from administrator without making yourself administer first. In effect there is no administrator for your computer. I went to start to control panel to user accounts to select new account type and you may be able to rectify the problem there ( Windows 7)Try that for starters and it may give you a clue as to what to do. Another way may be to go to restore in the control panel and go back to a time previous to when you tried to change the user accounts.

I bought mac book used and i cant update or install anything cause i dont no administrator password

If you received an OS X install disk with your used MacBook you can change the administrator password.
1: Boot with the OS X install DVD by restarting the computer with the C key held down. You may release it when the Apple logo appears.
2: When you get to the install menu, select your language
3: Select Reset Password under the utilities menu on the menu bar.
4: When the password pane come up, click on your Hard Drive Icon,
5: Select the original administrator's user name (capitalization counts)
6: Enter a new password for this administrator account (capitalization counts).
7: Re-enter the new password to confirm.
8: WRITE IT DOWN SOMEWHERE!
9: Provide a password hint.
10: Click save.
11: Make sure you reset the home directory permissions and ACLs by clicking the reset button.
12: Reboot your Mac.
If you don't have an install disk, you will have to buy or borrow one.

Try to login in the Administrator account, press Ctrl+Alt+Del (2 or 3 times) in the welcome screen and you'll get a login square, in username name type Administrator and password leave it blank if it logins without a password go to control panel and create new accounts.

Okay just got this comuter from someone and i cant enter administ

It sounds like it used to belong to someone else. Go to Control panel and set yourself up a new account but make sure the account is set as administrator. Use your new account to add new programs and stuff. Problem solved.
