What is fuel pressure out put for 1989 chevy lumina w/v6 engine

Fuel Shutoff Valve according to all the articles, however the switch operates the valve and the valve tells tales back to the ECM. You would need a pro grade scan tool computer to diagnose against known voltage values.

Hello Tommy,

Your Lumina has (1) oil pressure senor and (1) oil pressure switch and (1) Transmission Oil Temp Sensor.

We do not have these diagrams.

I'd want to check proper fuel pressure? How long since a tune-up? Can you check applicable trouble codes?

Support the car very securely first of all

Remove the negative cable from the battery

Remove the wires from the starter

Remove the two bolts from the starter going upward to the engine block

Wiggle the starter out

Reverse this proceedure to reinstall

For the 1993 Chevy Lumina:
I do not know if you have the 2.2L In-Line 4 Cylinder, 3.1L V6, or 3.4L DOHC V6 Engine; however I have included all below.

remove fuel tank from vehicle and remove lock ring from tank swap fuel pump out..make sure sealing ring is installed properly

3.8L--any GM that used it. Buick lesabre, pontiac bonneville, chevy lumina(some)...very common engine
