Question about Nintendo DS Console

1 Answer

I have a major problem!!!!!!!! Please try to help!!!!!!!!:((

Hi I bought a nintendo ds about april 2007. My ds was working perfectly fine except for a few minor problems every so often, until just a few weeks ago my ds was dropped on the linoleum floor of my school and the power light completely dislocated itself from the system. It still worked fine for about 4 or 5 more charges after, but one day i was playing it and it shut off completely. I tried rebooting the console, but got the same effect. I charged it all night but now all it does is the green light goes on, clicks, the bottom screen flashes, then it goes off. I have tried many solutions such as cleaning the battery, charging with a different charger and outlet, nothing seems to work. I hope you can help me because i can't afford a new ds.:((

You will need to replace the upper lcd screen, when the power light came off it caused the top and bottom shell to shift back and forth causing the lcd ribbon to become damaged, the flash you see is the power from the botton trying to make it's way to the top, send to ebay ed-kar-3 for $38.00 to fix

My ds lite has: "system date error" how do i fix

Hi there,

Let us investigate in this matter and try to resolve it.

Since the 10th of April, 2010, some users of the Nintendo DS and DSi and the R4i SDHC card have experienced an error that stops the DS card / DSi card from being used. The error contains the message “Loading… System date error! Please check NDS system date” when a user turns on their Nintendo DS, Nintendo DS Lite, Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DSi XL console.
The reason of this error seems to be an incompatibility between the actual system date on the Nintendo DS console and the R4i SDHC card. This is possible of the Nintendo DS was played until it lost all power, or if the memory card within the R4i SDHC was formatted incorrectly. It can also be attributed to the date simply being incorrectly calibrated. In some situations, transferring a .SAV file from another Nintendo DS that has a different system date on it, can also trigger the problem. It currently seems to be that the problem only manifested itself after the 10th of April, 2010. While the team behind the R4i SDHC are working on a fix to be a future part of a software update, consumers are advised to go into their Nintendo DS system settings and set the date back until the R4i SDHC card can continue to function as normal. In some cases, setting the date back up to a month is required to temporarily solve the problem.
google_protectAndRun("ads_core.google_render_ad", google_handleError, google_render_ad); Until a software solution is found, the R4i SDHC team would suggest consumers keep their dates wound back. To hear the latest about what solutions, both temporary and permanent, please visit the blog on http://www.dscardworld.com where solutions will be tested before presented to the public.
Hope that works.

System date error please check nds system date can you help me please

Change your ds date back before 14 april 2010. Now you can play.
Wait for a kernel update.
See the message below from the manufacturer of the R4 cards.

Omer

Due to the fault of our R4 team, except R4(I) SDHC V2.0,all the kernels can not work normally base on the date after 14th, April, 2010. The issues are the system date error and when you booting up the consoles, you couldn't enter into the main manu. We are awfully sorry for this. The temporary solution is to adjust your system date before 14th, April, 2010. R4 team will remedy this bug with the latest kernel and do the activity to reward the consumers! The latest information for this activity will be released at www.r4isdhc.com and www.nds9.com. Please pay more attention to this!

My nintendo DS which I brought in April won't turn on

Maybe changing the battery will help, did your granddaughter dropped her DS? It could be have some damage due to accidental drops and the like. If a new battery does not work you might need to have it repaired.

My r4 ds card was bought in december was working fine now im lucky if it will load at all when it does load it crashes its 2gb please help ps i bought 2 and neither of them will load

Hi there,

Did you recently get a new DS console or anything like that? Otherwise, it looks like you may have bought a not-original R4 card. You should return it to the shop you bought it from and ask about it.

If you are looking for a reliable place to buy DS and DSi cards from that will stock originals, I'd recommend using http://www.NDS-Gear.com (I've used them myself). They test every card before sending which means you won't receive dud cards, and more importantly they have support before AND after your purchase by people who reply very quickly and in perfect English. Some of these dodgy websites take 4-6 weeks to deliver and never answer e-mails, so I'm glad these guys are different. Oh, and they guarantee to dispatch by the next working day, which always helps with speed and all. And they're recommended by a lot of the DS card help sites, too.

Good luck!

My ar ds doesn't work anymore

I suggest you go to the store where you bought the action replay card and ask the Costumer Service for help. They might give you a replace, and if the replace doesn't work, then it just doesn't work for your Pokemon game. My cousin had the same problem. He bought one of those replay cards and tried one of my  Nintendo D.S. games. It didn't work. When he tried it on his games it worked perfectly, and just 2 of my games it didn't work. Hope this helped !!!!  :D  :]
