Have you done calibrating ? try to calibrate the printer, or set the printer to the factory setting

Press and hold the feed button until it flash 4 times,

it will restore the printer to default, if that's not work......... then there's a problem on the Media Sensor...... try to clean it up from dust............. or replace the sensor

Unplug the printer, place your finger on the green button and with the other hand turn the printer back on. Let the light flash four times (flash, flash flash, flash flash flash, flash flash flash flash) then immediately release the green button. The printer will cycle and feed out a couple of labels. Press the green button one more time and you are ready to go.

I need to print labels and bar codes without installing the zebra driver.

This printer supports EPL if it is a true 2844 not a 2844-z. If you want to print to it directly from programming you can to it that way.

because if label lengh is ex. 20mm and you set up label print area as 21mm, it will over the size and it will skip the next one. the print area shoul be less than the label length. please verify software or driver.

I had the same issue with my Zebra printer. Make sure your margins are set correctly, and you have the correct size label selected. This fixed my problem.

Zebra LP 2844 direct thermal printer is only printing half the width of the label. Label dimensions appear correct in prefrences.

check the "unprintable areas" on the preference. it should be Zero. find the Zebra Setup Utility on www.zebra.com , with that utility program, try to set the printer to the factory default

TLP 2844 skips 15-16 labels then prints intended label

It sounds like they may need to set their "Q" values for the labels they are using.   If that isn't it, we may need more info - are they using Zebra brand or custom labels?
To start with, I would ask them to try adding these "Q" value commands: q456 Q152,24
If that doesn't work, then maybe they can provide the other info mentioned above so we can understand the problem better.
