Every single time i download music on to my mp3 player, some of the music wont show up on my player.. for example:
Using windows media player, i download 90 songs, onto my player, and it says all of them have gotten on successfully. BUT when i unplug my player and go back on to look at how many songs it says in the "information" it says i only have 60 songs on my player.
Its like half of the music gets earased! im soo confused! someone please help! thanks!

i loooked and it is supported, all the music is an mp3 and if it isnt. Windows media player converts it. So it can go in player. ahh im not very good with electronics as you can tell... this is really quite confousing. Because now ive figured out that, it just randomly picks what songs it wants to have on the player. As said before i have 90 songs dowloaded and it says that all songs have successfully been on the mp3. And then we i look on the mp3 it says i only ahve 60 downloaded, and they are completey random. Ive re done this about 20 million times, and im using the same playlist, and sumtimes songs that got on my mp3 before dont show up, while the other ones doo.
soo if anyone can give me any other options on fixing this, that would be great!!! *ken*

-   WE HAVE DOWNLOADED MP3 SONGS AND IT SAYS THEY HAVE BEEN DOWNLOADED WHICH YOU CAN TELL BY THE LOWER MB'S THAT HAVE BEEN USED, BUT WHEN WE GO TO PLAY THEM THEY ARE NOT THERE; SAYS NO FILE-   Guest
Check the bitrate of the songs which didn't make it. If they are too low they are ignored. Also some machines won't tolerate VBR MP3s (variable bitrate)
Downloading songs off the Internet can be the cause of this problem. Not all people converting music to MP3s for the Internet use the same specifications. In future keep an eye on the bitrates of the music. Many people use lower rates so they can fit more on their computers but the portable players don't always like them.
There are MP3s and then there are MP3s. Some are VBR (variable bitrate) then there are MP3s recorded at a high bitrate and MP3s recorded at a low bitrate. Some players don't like Low bitrate MP3s and a few don't like Very high MP3s. All you have to do is check your manual and find out what the manufacturer recommends as the optimum bit rate and make sure the one's you're loading fall into that recommendation.
Maybe it's a problem with DRM or Digital Rights Management which is a system designed to stop people from doing exactly what you're doing, copying copyrighted music. As I'm not here to encourage piracy you'll have to search the Net yourself to find out how to bypass it.
If you're using the software that came with the unit why not just drag and drop the MP3s into your player? Creative software is rather hard to handle unless you're savvy with mp3S
If you downloaded the songs using the wrong format which can be changed in your settings, the music you have downloaded is going into the wrong place. The files that you transfer to the MP3 are messing with your V-TOC and if thats the case, then you need to use Windows Explorer and transfer your music to your computer and place the songs into a folder. After you have finished transferring them, you need to go to settings and reset your MP3. Once it has been reset, transfer the songs back over to the MP3. Note: Not all the songs are going to transfer back over because when you were putting music on it in the wrong format, it corrupted files and they may not all be recovered.
I noticed that some songs wouldn't go to my mp3 player randomly. I found that the player would not accept two songs with the same name. For example "track 10". I use itunes. Most of my music is from burned cd's so there are no track names, just tons of "track 10" and other numbers. So i rename them so the player will take them all as different.

i solved this problem that i found that some of downloaded folders have system atribute and it didnt show that foder in mp3 player...u can change it for example in total commander
The files need to be added to the MP3 directory on the MP3 player, not the root. The player won't see them unless they are in the MP3 directory regardless of actual file type.
