I need a multipurpose remote control that works with the avtex w152d tv as they do not supply remote controls for this model any more. Can anyone reccomend one for me that will control all the functions?

A universal remote would cure this problem. It's generally since they are on the same system or IR codes are similar. There isnt much you can do to fix that problem unless you have a seperate universal remote to opperate seperately.

the conducting ink coating inside the blisters is gone. carefully open the top portion,which is stuck like an adhesive tape conducting ink black or brown is available with a hobby electronic shop put a coating on the inside of the blister let it dry stick the cover again. p.s. bose service will tell u it is not repairable

I used 0081 for the KENMARK LVD160 and it worked straightaway. This was for a REV 6 - SKY remote.

Hi, thanks fred but I am currently awaiting a refund from that company after they informed me that they have discovered that avtex no longer make the remote control. I spoke to avtex and they confirmed that the remote control is no longer manufactured. I lost the old one so I am unable to repair it, so I am going to try a multi purpose remote. I just wondered if anyone out there had any experience with this.
Hi James...There a ton of multi-purpose remotes out there and I'm sure that there are some that will work with your set..I just thought that you would like an original remote..The manufacturing may have stopped but I visited a company's site called That Leisure company UK that has your remote..If you want to visit the site..either copy and paste this link to your browserhttp://www.that-leisure-company.co.uk/se... or do a Google search for That Leisure Company Uk.When on the site....Type REMOTE in the search window in the upper right side of the page..do the search and you will find your remote..I saw it there..And they will ship it FREE...Well good luck...let me know what happens either way...PEACE...
