I am streaming netflix from my Nintendo Wii to TV. Is there an after market HDMI cable that I can run from Wii to Denon Stereo to get sound through receiver?

Hello, although there are not official wii to HDMI output cables, there are in fact some cables that are provided by third party handlers that will work.

For instance THIS product is a simple little converter which you put into your wii output and connect a regular HDMI cable.

KEEP IN MIND: This isn't a HDMI cable, you need to have a HDMI cable or buy one to use it with this product.

Have a red wii. plays but no color help......plz

Hi.

Check all the leads from the Wii to the TV and make sure they are not loose or broken. Also check the regional settings in the settings menu and make sure its set to your area.
If your TV has component inputs make sure you have a Wii component cable or you could buy a Wii RGB Scart cable if you only have a spare scart input. If you turn on the Wii press menu on your TV and alter the AV settings. For example, change the setting to composite opposed to RGB. Also check your Wii settings and change them to be in parallel with the TV settings.

Regards.

No sound on wii

Hello :

1: Make sure you have the volume on the TV turned up and the audio-video connections plugged into the same-colour plugs. Sound only kicks-in once you are at the Wii menu. If this doesn't work, continue to step 2.

2. Test the Wii with another TV. If you have sound there, then it is possible that the HDTV's sound inputs plugs are damaged. Send your HDTV off for repairs.

3. If the Wii does not work with the other TV, then it is likely that the audio cables are damaged. Order a replacement from Nintendo (instructions are in the Wii user's guide)

good luck .

rate please !

Our wii console won't turn on. The power button doesn't even glow anymore. What's wrong with it?

it might be a problem with the power converter. make sure the wall socket the wii is plugged into is working properly and you don't have a broken fuse somewhere. try a different plug to see if you can get the wii to power up at all, if not you might need to buy a new power cable.

Wii wont come on.

it might sound silly but is the power cable pushed all the way in? if so take your wii to game or similar and ask them to test with their cable on pretence of poss buying a new power lead if theirs works then new lead is what you need

Wii light is on but the Wii won't function.

Try the Wii "RESET".
Here's how:
1. Unplug the Wii for at least 5 minutes.
2. Plug it back in.
