HELP! I CAN"T SEE THE DISPLAY ON MY PHONE

Im postin my problem up here to avoid getting yelled at by a parent and try to find a solution rather paying a high cost becuase the insuranc eis not covering it anymore because this is the second time.
Thing is I can't see the display of the phone it's black but the little red light on the right lights up. And fold/hinge that swings open the phone next to the red light has a little/minor crack but don't know if its from droppin the phone or whatever or water but im im obviously guessing from dropping it due to the crack. Can someone please please help me resolve this incident.
