Question about Logitech Cordless Desktop EX110

Cordless Desktop EX110 Keyboard stopped working

My keyboard is making me extremely upset because of the fact that all of the keys have stopped working except the e-mail,home,calculator and audio off keys. I have :
-Updated XP to Service pack two
-Connected to keyboard many of times
-Restarted computer many times
-Switched the usb ports into almost all of them

The problem is after I switch the usb ports, they work BUT the previous ones continue to not work. Currently I'm on my last usb port. Also my mouse is still working, that's the only thing that's well.

Thank you for the help in advance.

Have you replaced the batteries in the keyboard? It takes 2 AA batteries I believe.

If this helps, please rate this solution. Thank you.

Cordless Destop EX110 Keyboard is inoperable. Batteries have been replaced and connect button pressed. HELP!

Sounds like your keyboard has died...Try to perform a reboot, and make sure the battery is seated correctly. You will most likely have to get it replaced. I recommend going with a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse. Its a lot better than Logitech!!

Mouse and keyboard not working

  1. Remove the batteries from the keyboard.
  2. Make sure you have the mouse synchronized. To do this, press the connect button on the receiver, then press the connect button on the mouse.
  3. Open the iTouch Configuration Panel by double clicking the iTouch icon in the Systray.
  4. Click the Cordless tab.
  5. Click the Connect button in the Control Panel. A dialog box will appear instructing you to press the connect button. Before you do, you should re-insert the batteries.
  6. After inserting the batteries, press the connect button on the keyboard.
  7. Verify both devices function correctly.
If this does not work, please try the steps below:
  1. Remove the batteries from the keyboard and press keys on the keyboard repeatedly (as if typing) for approximately one minute. This will clear out the capacitors.
  2. Press the Connect button on the receiver.
  3. Press the Connect button on the mouse. NOTE: You may need a pencil tip or other small tip to press the connect button.
  4. Press the Connect button on the receiver.
  5. Insert the batteries back into the keyboard.
  6. Press the Connect button on the keyboard.
