Try connecting a laptop to that cable and see if that laptop can get to the internet. If not, then the connection is bad and needs repair. If the laptop can get to the internet on that cable, then the unit has gone bad and needs the communications module replaced. - Call your processor to get a new unit.

this will happen if you do have a single com module and the program is set up for 10base ( internet ) com if this is the case you will need a dual com module the first thing the unit does when you run a transaction is to look for the com port is it is 10 base it will look for the internet connection " BUT " if the comm module is bad meaning it took a power surge hit them you have to replace it if you need more help call us @ 775- 358 2922 hope this help : - )
Turn off and unplug the Verifone 3750. Wait for five seconds or so and then plug it back in. This will automatically reset the Verifone 3750 and it will reboot and restart.
Reset the shift. Resetting the shift is another reset option available for Omni. Press "Shift," then "#," followed by "1" to reset and change the shift.
Press "Shift," then "#," then "2" to stop a change and keep the shift on the current settings.

Simply plug the PIN pad cable into the comm port on the back of the terminal marked with a PIN pad symbol. As far as programming, has this PIN pad been injected with the proper encryption key? If you bought it right off the shelf, you will need to send it to your payment services provider for key injection.
The features in your terminal are run in conjunction with servers at your processor or gift card provider. You cannot use those features openly with your internal loyalty program. I could set it up for you give me a call and I will give you the details on it.
