Is there a way to repair the Archos Gmini 220 in the same way that we defrag a hard drive so as to make the WAV file I recorded readable? It was a live recital where mine was the only recording made.
In general if there are any tips to ensure less corrupted files I would love to hear. I just heard from a friend that he has an Archos Gmini 220 just like mine, and have had a lot of bad disk problems, too. So, I'm hoping that there's something obvious we're not doing right, as opposed to poor quality of the product....

i have a sigmatel mscn audio player (mp 480) .it was perfectly fine ..i plug in the usb cable to the port..switch on the mp3 player....and i dont see the "removable drive H" where my songs in the player are stored. and now i see a yellow exclamatory mark next to "" in device manager..under the heading..IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.. i tried re installing the driver ..but every time i do that an error pops up tellin
"cannot install the software"

my operating system is OS. i have tried all possible methods..i even installed a new driver from the net..but nothin seem to change..please help..:(
