Question about Sharp DV-RW340U DVD Recorder/VCR
If both decks have a disc or tape in it , the unit shut down because of a power supply glitch or a mechanical trouble shut down the system control system. One way to possibly get them out is unplug unit for a few hours or overnight even better. Before you plug back in press the eject button and hold it in while you plug it in. Dont let go untill the tape comes out. Now if it comes out then unplug the unit anf replug back in and wait a few secs. to let it reset and do its thing. then see if it will turn on and try to eject the disc. if this dosent work then its a power supply problem and its going to need serviceing unless you know your way aroundservo controls and power supplys . Remeber always unplug these units as they do have voltages on the primary side of the transformer that can bite ya. Good Luck
