Question about West Bend Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines

Open Question

I have an old West Bend 30 cup coffee urn with a bad spigot

We have an old West Bend Cat. No. 29304 30 cup coffee urn. The unit will make coffee just fine. However, the spigot trickles the coffee out only if we hold it in a certain spot, otherwise, the ?valve? shuts off and no coffee comes out! I've tried to unscrew the spigot to work on it and it turns along with the nut. When I turn the nut, the spigot turns too. Is there anyway to fix the spigot without taking it off?

Need a new coffee basket it is plastic the number is 7036.

You can order a replacement basket online from either of the the following sites:

http://www.westbend.com/catalog.cfm?dest=itempg&itemid=948&secid=87&linkon=subcategory&linkid=125

or

http://www.abtecparts.com/westbend_urn_baskets.htm

The P122-45 should fit your coffee urn. West Bend has 2 different 36 cup coffee urns, both use this same basket.

Thank you for using FixYa!

How much coffee would it take to make the 55 cups in this coffee maker, and can you use the same coffee as you use for drip machines?

Your model sounds like the West Bend 59055 - Large Coffee Urn, 60 Cup.
The User Manual for your coffer urn can be found here:

http://www.westbend.com/supportdata/L5613B_LargeCapacityUrns-All.pdf

Instruction for making coffee can be found on page 5. For 55 cups is would take 3 1/4 cups of coffee.

Use an electric perc or regular grind coffee; if you grind your own this should be a medium to coarse grind.

Do not use 'drip' or finely ground coffee as this could plug the drain holes in the basket and cause the urn to flood.

I need a replacement power cord for a West Bend 58030 30-cup coffee urn

Check older mom-and-pop hardware stores, I've seen these cords on the shelves occasionally as they fit several older appliances.

Stem is missing from the West Bend 60 cup coffee maker. Can I purchase one over the website, if so which website. Thanks Elaine Willey sassy43@earthlink.net

The West Bend parts page for a 60-cup urn is here. You didn't give a model, but it's the only 60-cupper they list. You can find the stem there.

Need to replace my spigot on my 30 cup revere ware coffee maker because it leaks. Where can I get one to "pop" into that hole so I can pour the coffee out of the pot into the cups.

I have a Westbend 24 cup coffee urn with a leaky faucet. I tried finding areplacement spigot for it but so far no luck. My spigot has a screw in the top that allow for disassembly. It looks to me that if I could get a replacement rubber O-ring I could fix it myself. Does anyone know where I could get this?
Thanks
