I believe this is the manual for your model phone. It is in PDF. If you don't have a pdf reader go to www.adobe.com and download the reader.

I used to be able to make announcements on an 18D by pressing intercom and the top right button. After a power outtage our phones have been different. How can I program or make announcements again?

Call in a pro. it sounds like you lost all your programming with that power outage.
Depending on your processor type, you may have to re-program teh entire system, or just restore a backup....

That depends on the model. Select the model of your Uniden DECT 6.0 phone from the list beginning at

to get the manual.

How can i do two way on panasonic 5.8ghz

These directions are for the KX-TG5451, KX-TG5452 and KX-TG5453.

If you want to use the intercom feature, you need to know the handset number for the unit you want to contact. The base is zero. The handset number is set when you register the handsets. So to communicate with the base, press Intercom on the handset followed 0. The base will ring until someone presses Call to answer it (or one minute whichever comes first). (Alternatively, you can use the up/down arrows to select H1, H2, H3 or Base. Then press the right arrow key.)

To communicate between two handsets, press Intercom and then 2 (from handset 1 or 3 to connect with handset 2). Again the handset will ring for one minute or until the person with handset 2 answers. (To answer, they can press the phone, speaker or intercom button.)

If someone at the base wants to use the intercom, they need to press Select until the appropriate handset number is displayed. Then press Call.

To transfer a call, press Intercom and then select the desired handset. When the intercom message is picked up, indicate that a call is being transferred and press Off at the handset or base that initially answered the call.

For a conference call, initiate the call then press Intercom and select the handset to join the conversation. Once that person picks up, then press Conf. (I believe that Conf is a softkey so check the display.) This is only possible with the handset. (Another handset can join the conference by pressing the phone or speaker button on that unit.)

The manual for the KXTG5453 is available here: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTG5451S.PDF .

If you have a different model of the Panasonic 5.8 GHz phone, please add a comment with the model number and I'll try to give the directions for that unit.

I hope this helps.

KXTD816 Panasonic telephone - lost phone connection

Good thing. You probably don't need to know. Try powering the system down, and power it back up. Watch the lights as it comes up.
Do you get a solid light on the lower right side of the cabinet? Now see if you can dial intercom to intercom calls. Press one of the line buttons and see if it lights up. If it does, I'd be looking for dial tone at the telco interface. Those are RJ-14 jacks (2 lines per plug).

P.S. The reset button you don't want to press is on the lower right side of the cabinet. If the switch is in the wrong place, you'll trash the memory.

make sure your wiring that connects lines from dmarc into the unit is consistant. Line1 must be line1 on all phones, line2 must be line2 etc.
After line appearance verified follow instructions in the manual and everything should work. If it doesnt contact manufacturer for assistance

PLEASE, PLEASE try and help me...I can't tell you how much this would be appreciated. I have a Panasonic KTS4100 4 line phone (2 corded phones in our office, and one cordless). I have NO IDEA how to use...

Just in case you missed the manual:
http://www.centralcomms.co.nz/pdf/KX-T2375-brosh.pdf

There are 2 conditions you need to be aware of

1 No DSL on the line
2. Set the intercom extension of the second phone

By default, both have been assigned ext 11. The intercom uses the same frequencies as a DSL line to transmit, so that could be the noise you are hearing.

Page 23 tells you how to set the intercom extension, and the DSL warning is almost at the bottom of every page from 18-22.
