Start your computer from the original restore disk, once the installer comes up look for the Menu "Utilities" select the "Reset Password" menu item, you will then see a picture of your hard drive, click it and a list of names will appear, you can now reset the passwords for the users on the computer.

Lost my facebook password

Do a Search (in Google or some other browser) using keywords like "FaceBook" + "password" + "reset". This should produce THEIR information about this topic. If I recall, too many wrong attempts just makes you wait awhile before trying again. If you selected the option in your FB account, you may also get a Notification Email advising you that someone unsuccessfully tried to access your account, with an option of logging in as a "hotlink" in the email.

Why i can't open the facebook

You face book account may have been hacked and you lost it to a hacker. Contact facebook and ask them to RESET your account - other wise - Email me your username and password and I will look into it. If I am successful you can make up a new password.

My mac book pro is password locked by another user

In order to override/reset the root level password on your system you can boot up from a system disk (insert disk and restart holding down "C" key). If you don't have a system disk, there are other ways to do it: http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20080414140636495

New mac book ask for a pass word to get it started

What you need to do is put in the system disk and reboot holding down the c key this will allow you to boot up with the system disk. Once booted up go to the file menu and select reset password this will allow you to enter your own password. Hope this helps

Forgot my pass word on apple note book

HI there,

You can change your password with the original system disks that came with the computer. Put the discs in the computer, restart it holding down the "c" key to boot off the disk. Choose your language, then go up to utilities tab on the top and choose change password.

This will only change the login password, and not the keychain access passwords.

Cheers

Password problem

Click Restart at the login window
While the computer is restarting, hold down "Command-S" until you see text scrolling through the window.
This boots the computer into single user mode.

At the Localhost% prompt type:
/sbin/mount -uw //sbin/SystemStarter

You will then see various services starting up.

When the Localhost% prompt reappears, type:
passwd root

It will then ask you to type the new root password twice, so do so.

After entering the new password, type:
reboot

At the login window, enter username root wih the new password.

Once you are connected, you can use the Multiple Users application (/Applications/Utilities) to change your normal user's password, or create a new user account.

Good Luck!!
