The most likely problem is that a pin on th cable is either bent and missing a color or the cable can be bad. If you use VGA a pin can bend and cause a color disappear. DVI cables can sometimes be the same issue.

Most likely if the cable is not in correctly it could also be the cause of the problem. Check the pins and make sure they are straight up correctly and if they are let me know what displays on the monitor and maybe i can help you out more. I specialize on monitor issues. :)

Try this... unplug the power to the monitor. While unplugged, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Plug back in and test.

There should be a reset in the menu on the monitor where you would change color, vertica,l etc... it will say reset or reset to factory.....if not try shutting down the computer completely and unplug monitor and pc for a couple minutes then plug back into electrical connection and restart

Screen is very Blue all of a sudden. I have tried working with the controls on the back and nothing seems to change the screen color. It is as if a layer of blue is over the entire monitor!

You can have problem in the Logic\LCD driver board, I would try new VGA cable first or try unplug/plug the VGA cable, but try it on another PC also just to be sure.

Monitor screen begins as computer is booting up and then screen goes black. Message says there is no signal.

If the power light dims or changes color after the no signal message comes up, that means the monitor went to sleep.
While the monitor is plugged in and on and the computer is also on, Try unplugging the VGA cable from the monitor. wait 30 seconds and then plug it back in o see if the power button light comes back to normal color and the screen flashes on.
If not, then the monitor is not getting a signal from the computer.
If using a desktop computer,Try a different cord or try the monitor on another computer.
If using a laptop, you need to activate the laptop to use an external monitor. That can be done through the display settings, OR, most laptops have a shortcut key feature which usually involves pushing the Fn key and one of the F keys at the same time. The F key may say CRT/lcd or have a picture of a monitor and a screen.
If the power light does light back up and still no picture, There may be an internal issue on the monitor

Weird colors!

Normally this happens if the plug at the back of of the monitor or the computer loose. Try to secure that cable. If they are secure, check the pins on the ports at back of the monitor / desktop or the cable. I also suggest that you try a different monitor cable.

SVA 17" flat monitor screen color is pink.

It's not a "windows" problem. At the bottom of your monitor there should be a 'menu' button. Push the button and use the up and down, right and left arrows on your keyboard to scroll to color. Get the "red" color and adjust it down. You can also scroll through to 'contrast' and adjust that. You don't need to pay a bunch of bucks to have this fixed.

Blue tint on computer display monitor

Try
1. Unplugging the video cord from the back of the computer (and screen if it comes off) and plugging it back in. Sometimes it can become loose and cause a screen to have a abnormal color contrast
2. Updating the drivers to your card
3. Trying a different monitor on the computer. Mind you, if you plug in a differant monitor and the color stays the same. Check the videocards pins on the back of the card. I dont know if you gave all the info on how it became like this, so maybe it got undone and plugged back in forcably and one of them got bent? I
Also if the pigment goes away. Plug the normal one back in and if its gone, great!, if its back. Try the OSD settings on that monitor. Still no luck. The monitor is junk.

Hope that helps

Mag innovision LT716s monitor

When I turn on my computer the monitor takes a long time to warm up and colors change and vertical lines flash across the screen from right to left before the screen becomes normal again. Now the power light even goes out upon turning on my computer and I have to unplug the video cord and plug it back in to start the screen back up which even takes longer.

Monitor Switched Itself Off, Won't Turn Back On

With the computer on shine a flashlight on the screen where the Windows Start button would normally be. If you can faintly see it then your backlight has malfunctioned. Check your warrantee to see if you?re still covered. If not then it is repairable at most TV or computer repair shops. If you can?t see anything with the flashlight try connecting the monitor to another working PC. If the problem follows the monitor: -Check the monitor for bent or corroded pins. -Again see if you warrantee is still active or take it to a repair shop.
