Due to the complexity of networking, I will send you the actual manual that will walk you through it step-by-step. Please send an email to [email protected] and I will get it back to you. Please put "Savin Network Guide" as the subject. Lawrence Brown

SOURCE: Savin 8045e copier

That depends on what you are printing.
Any time you read stats about page count, it is usually based on 30% coverage of the page.
Depending on what you are printing, it can be more or less.

Estimated yield is 30,000 pages for a standard cartridge.
Using an aftermarket (refill) cartridge can vary greatly.
And as mentioned, it really depends on what you are printing.

SOURCE: Trying to install my computer to the copier printer

How about downloading the driver, connecting the machine to a tcp/ip port on your router, setting up an appropriate ip address, and subnet mask on the machine, then creating a new tcp/ip port in the 'add printer wizard' and use the machines ip address, and continue with installation.

SOURCE: error code E-4

You only have part of the error code. You need to hold down the "." key in order to get the rest of the code. Since there is only 3 error codes that begin with 4, I'll post them here so when you find out what the problem is, you can attempt to solve it.

E405 - Transfer belt/drum charge roller position abnormal
E440 - Main motor lock
E442 - Drum charge thermistor abnormal

It's most likely not the third, as this one doesn't normally cause the machine to stop operating. The first two can be reset by turning off the main power switch for a few seconds, then turning it back on. This will clear the error, provided it's not a hard error (one that reoccurs during the machines warm-up cycle).

Just so you know, due to the age, parts for this machine are getting hard to get...

SOURCE: Savin 9945DPE cannot Network print

Did you format the new drive through the service mode on the copier? As long as the drive is compatible then it should work once you format it.

How do you reset the savin 8035 sc542 code after thermistor is replaced?

Press the yellow button ( reset button ) then press 107 then press and hold the red button (stop button ) for about 3 sconds until the display changes. Touch copier on the display screen. Now turn the copier off using the on off switch on the left front side of the copier. If the cold comes back the Thermostat in the fuser is most likely tripped and would need to be replaced.
