Zenith sets have it so you can replace the whole board. I agree with the other techs that you should have some experience with tvs before you attempt this type of the repair, as theres HI voltage issues you must know first. Contact http://www.ptscorp.com amd get there contact # and call them with the model # , so you will know about how much the part is. And then I would advise you to get PRO to assist you in this repair Good Luck

This sounds like an open horizontal output transistor. If that is the case the HOT and flyback should be replaced. This is specialized work and probably should be left to a professional.

I have no sound from Xbox HDMI connection.

you likely connected it with one or both units involved on and HDMI does not like that--prone to all sorts of audio issues.

If in doubt unplug the units and wait and plug back up making the connections first.

My Zenith TV model IQC60H95W has no picture and no sound. When you turn it on you hear a clicking noise. I keep hearing it may be the flyback transformer.

ciforrer,

This is also where I would recommend starting to look. I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r6396176-projection_tv_troubleshooting which should help you localize and repair the problem.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Sound

I do not have a Zenith B25A02Z TV. What I do have is a 1988 Zenith Color TV SE2517P. I called a local tv repairman and discussed the problem over the phone. He can take a look at it if we bring it in (service call to the home cost $100 just to show up). He said it was worth fixing since he thought it was only the sound. We have a great picture. He charges $20 to look at it but we have to leave it. He lives 20 minutes away one way. We think it is worth the trip if we can get it loaded into our minivan. We live in western NY where the weather can get pretty ugly many days. I will post the solution later when I know. FYI
