When you delete messages in Yahoo! Mail, they go to your Trash folder. If you delete a message by mistake, for a little while you'll be able to find it in Trash and move it back to your Inbox or another folder. Just remember that messages in your Trash folder can be deleted at any time, without warning.
To permanently remove the contents of Trash yourself, just click Empty next to Trash on the left side of the page. When messages are emptied from the trash folder, they are permanently deleted from the Yahoo! Mail server and cannot be recovered.

I agree with Loringh, you will not normally be able to recover a yahoo deleted email. The problem is, unless you use POP3 and actually download your emails before you read them, they are never actually stored on your computer. When you use Yahoo mail, you usually sign into a secure webpage which allows you to view email that is stored on one of Yahoo's servers. At no time will the email be stored on your own computer. When you delete an email, it is sent to your "Trash" folder. At this point you can still view it by looking in the trash folder. If you delete the email from the trash folder, you tell the server that your email is no longer required. It will remain on Yahoo's server for a short time but it will not be accessible because you told the server it was no longer required and the server will then consider this as free space to be overwritten with other data.

POP3 downloaded email - This is where you use software to download email from the server and store it locally on your computer. For example "Outlook Express." As soon as the email is downloaded, it is removed from the server and resides solely on you computer. If you delete a downloaded email and you are desperate to recover it, you may be able to use a windows restore point to take your computer back to a point before the email was deleted. This will only work if a restore point was created after the email was downloaded Although Yahoo email can be downloaded using POP3, not everyone does this.

I don't believe this is possible. I use Yahoo myself. When you delete an email from incoming mail, of course it goes into the TRASH mailbox. When you delete the contents of the TRASH mailbox, it asks you "Are you sure you want to permanently delete these emails"

Just to check I deleted an email from the TRASH mailbox in my computer that had a unique name. I then did a search of my complete computer looking for that unique email. The search came up empty.

I am sure there are people with alot of computer savy that might be able to find my
deleted trash email but that is way beyond my ( and most others) capability.

Best of luck

Loringh

How to restore my deleted mails

If your deleted emails are still in your "Trash" folder ... you can view the contents of the "Trash" folder, select the emails you wish to restore, and "move" them to your "Inbox" folder.
If you have already emptied your "Trash" folder ... then it's not going to be possible to restore the emails that have been deleted.
You can try to contact Yahoo (support) to plea / request for your emails to be recovered from their backups. You may get lucky.

I lost all my Group Emails. How do I recover it.

It's possible, if it's been less than 24 hours since you deleted those emails to recover by filling out this form.

If using Classic:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/cl...

If using All-New:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya...

If more than 24 hours, and the Trash folder has been emptied, there would be no possible way to retrieve deleted emails.

I don't know if you emptied the Trash folder or if Yahoo! did, but it's not a bad idea to get into the habit of NEVER emptying the Trash folder. Yahoo! empties it for us, so there's really no need for that step.

Is there a way to recover mail from yahoo if it was deleted from the trash folder

Once an email is emptied from your Trash folder, there is no way for you to recover it. You may want to try contacting Yahoo, however, to see if there is any way they can retrieve it on their end. You can find the Yahoo contact information, as well as online support, here:

How do i retrieve deleted messages from the trash folder

If you act quickly, there's a chance Yahoo! can restore your mailbox to a previous state from a backup copy, recovering your lost messages whether you accidentally emptied the Trash folder containing an important email or whether a Yahoo! Mail glitch made mail disappear. Of course, you can also undelete a message quickly as long as it is still in your Yahoo! Mail's Trash folder. Undelete Mail in Yahoo! Mail To undelete a message in Yahoo! Mail or Yahoo! Mail Classic:
  • Go to the Trash folder.
  • Open the desired message.
  • Click Move in the Yahoo! Mail toolbar.
  • Select Inbox or any other folder to recover the message.
    • In Yahoo! Mail, you can also drag and drop the email to any folder, of course.
Recover Lost or Ultimately Deleted Yahoo! Mail Messages To rescue messages that have disappeared from your Yahoo! Mail or Yahoo! Mail Classic account during the past 24 hours or undelete messages after you have emptied the Trash folder:

I deleted a very important email that i want to retrieve

I assume you are using webmail, meaning you open your web browser and log in to Yahoo mail.

When you delete an email, it goes into your Trash folder. Check there... you should be able to recover it from there.

According to Yahoo...Once messages are emptied from the Trash folder, they are permanently deleted from the Yahoo! Mail server and can’t be recovered.

How can i retreave trashed mails? I emptied the trash 2 days ago

Unfortunately it is not possible to retrieve the deleted mails from trash. Yahoo doesn't provide any service to recover back the deleted mail from the trash. Generally if you delete the mails these will be sent to trash, It is possible to recover the mails in the trash but it is not possible to recover the mails deleted from trash.
