Hey i have the same problem with a new razr i just got. the screen goes white although i can still answer calls and such. i f i turn my phone off and back on it works for a while until it does it again. what did you mean in your reply to the other person to reflash the phone to correct the problem. what is reflashing the phone and how do i do this?

first, make sure your Razr has no physical or water damage. If it's a T-Mobile phone, there will be a red sticker on the phone behind the battery. That indicates the phone as been exposed to water damage. Could mean the phone is shorting out on you. Now, I would suggest if the is NOT water damaged, to powercycle (turn off and on the phone) daily. Just off for about 30 seconds. Not long at all. If the white screen continues, do a master reset. Settings, -intial set up-master reset-code is 1234 or if you put in a different security code. This will work!
I don't know why you can't answer your phone or why you banged it to get it to work but your inside screens connector may just have came loose as it sometimes happens with out you doing anything wrong. Just take it apart and check the wires on the solved problems I think there one that tells you how to do this.
