Problems with Neff deep fat fryer N1310WOGB

Light comes on but element will not heat. No circuit on temperature Thermostat.
Do I need to order a new temp thermostat or could it be the element itself?

SOURCE: Gaggenu VF 112-610 Deep Fryer

www.gaggenau.com has a service link. The site is not really user friendly so enter the model number as VF 112610 and select the parts list. The heating element is listed at 158.00.

SOURCE: deep-fryer thermostat

What kind of fryer are you working on? American Range only manufactures commercial gas fryers. An American Range fryer thermostat is designed to work with a thermopile and a millivolt gas valve, 1500 mV maximum and almost no amperage. The American range thermostat is part number A50400. I can't find any reference to Model E-289 associated with American Range. The only residential products they make are ranges, cooktops, and wall ovens.
