Question about Canon PIXMA MP150 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Is it possible to install this printer without install cd.
Depending on the version of Windows you have, you should be able to get basic access with the drivers available from Windows built-in library.
Try this; go to the Control Panel, open Printers and Faxes folder, delete any mention of your MP150 if it is there.
Connect and turn on the Canon, reboot your system. Win should indicate that it has found a 'New Device.' If Windows has the driver available, it will tell you it is installing the software. If it does not, it will ask for a CD or source for the driver.
If it does the latter, you will have to go to the Canon support site and download what you need there. Canon will likely ask for the model number of the printer and the version of Windows you have.
Depending on your connection speed, it might take some time for the download if it contains all the info that is normally on the original CD.
