Try going to BIOS Setting, check if the drive is detected there. If it is, then change the Setting of your hard drive then try again. Are you trying to reformat your drive? If need more help about entering BIOS just post it here..

Sounds like your windows CD isn't bootable.
Try hitting F10 during the POST and see if it takes you to a utility application that allows you to reformat the system from the system recovery partition of the hard disk

It appears that you have a hard disk (drive C:) drive failure. If you can boot the laptop from a CD then you need to have the hard disk drive replaced. You should have a CD that came with the computerthat has "Diagnostics and Utilities" listed under contents. You can boot from this CD.

Toshiba error 08 064b 000 (invalid partition table) How do I fix it. I tried using the disk but it doesn't work.

Invalid Partition Table is a hard drive error and possibly is a dead hard drive. Therefore I would check the drive for errors by loading your rescue disc and attempting to get back into it. If you cannot, fit a fresh hard drive and run your rescue disc that you made when you first used the laptop.

When you created a partition on the new hard drive, did you make the partition active?
A partition that has not been activated can be formatted and Windows installed, disk check etc. but will not boot up.
You can make the partition by booting up in DOS with either a floppy disk or a boot CD and run the DOS command "fdisk" and navigate to Set the partition active.

Will turn on but screen says "hard disk data base will be rebuilt", says to "push X button to start", nothing happens just starts all over again with the same thing

Hello. You need to reformat your hard drive with an external USB set up. If you do not have an external hard drive case with USB then try another hard drive. Here is a link to show you the one I use to reformat Xbox 360 and PS3 hard drives.
http://cgi.ebay.com/External-2-5-SATA-Hard-Drive-USB-Enclosure-Silver-h09_W0QQitemZ150293421808QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item150293421808&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Sometimes the drives will not reformat due to a physical problem inside of the hard drive though. But either replacing it or reformating it will always solve this problem.

I hope this helps. Good luck and happy gaming!!
