New installed W.Bosch Greenstar 30CDi with DT20RF programmer. Have been getting intermittent cut out of heating when in progress as indicated on the programmer display by flashing green heating led and flashing CH & RF receiving icon on lcd disply. The heating ceases and resumes eventually on its own accord. The thermostat is still requiring heating according to its display. The thermostat batteries are fine ,there is no error messages on thermostat. Any ideas?

Unit was installed earlier this week. Exactly the same problem is occurring. Heating comes on and off at apparently random times.

The Heating does not function until the OK button is pressed and then it will not allow selection of timer mode for about ten to twenty minutes, it eventually reverts to timer. The antenna is flashing during this time, could it be interference form our computer network modem which is quite close by?

One of my customers had the same fault recently. We tryed to reset the radio connection but, the appliance still did not respond.
The receiver was disconnected for the evening to prove boiler and system functionality which was ok.
Next day we installed new receiver & followed set up. customer has had no symptoms for 2 mnths.
Hope this helps.

the black wire is your common wire, you need to program your thermostat, in the advance mode, to tell the t-stat if your heat pump reversing valve is energized on cooling or heating, is the orange wire connected to your t-stat.= w2/o/b

Move the wall thermostat to a new location away from the ceiling fan or stop using the ceiling fan. Also, try running the ceiling fan in reverse (counter clockwise when you're looking up at the fan blades) on slowest speed. That might solve the problem, too.

Please let e know is that helps.

Ferroli optimax he 31c. brand new system will only heat 3 of 8 rads. boiler on 90c will only burn for 15sec then D2 shows and it cuts out. Why??

it is either your pump is not running or blocked [ debris from installation ect ] or your diverter valve is stuck partially open allowing a little water to pass into the heating system [ usually first rads on system ] it runs for a short while and cuts out because your overheat stat is kicking in because of poor circulation [ it is only running around the primarys in the boiler where it quickly reaches the over heat limit ] temp tends to rise approx 1 deg per second a clear indication of circulation problems.
solution GET RID OF THE FERROLI

Greenstar 30CDi conventional condensing boiler and the temperature is fluctuating rapidly and repeatedly between 37 and 63 degrees. It is set on 4 so just above 60 sounds correct according to manual....

It sounds like you have air in the system, Turn Boiler Off keep pump running and try to find a spot where you can bleed the air out.

If you dont have an automatic water fill installed then
you will have to add water by hand

Bosch greenstar 30 CDi - no central heating or hot water!

it sounds like the system was not cleaned properly when the new boiler was fitted. all new boilers need to have the pipework flushed to remove any debris scale sludge and flux from the system. this is now usually done by a power flush which is basically a big pump mounted on a big bucket and it washes the dirt out of the pipework and collects in the bucket. if this is not done the dirt will block up the small passages in the heat exchanger. i suggest the system is cleaned flush and the heat exchanger changed to help protect the boiler a filter should be fitted (for example a magna clean) if the company who installed the boiler is corgi registered then they are liable for the damages. call corgi for advice.

My Worcester Bosch Greenstar Combi boiler digital display has started flashing the temperature then two half-rectangles alternately ... it is not heating the radiators to full capacity - any ideas?

just had same problem.  this apprently happens if the power supply has been interrupted or you switch the power on and off.
• The boiler runs for 15 minutes at minimum heat output to fill the condensate trap, the display (K) alternates between -II-” and the boiler flow temperature. This occurs every time the mains supply has been interrupted.
