Usually any PSU will fit as long as you dont have a odd case. you can even take out ur old PSU take it to a best buy, circut city, and fry's electronics and ask them for n higher watt of the PSU u already have.

I want to install a nvidia graphics card

That motherboard supports a PCIe x16 interface, so I would start there. It is older technology, so upgrades are limited. Below is a link to Newegg for video cards, and a video on how to install one.

Have you installed a wireless card? It likely doesn't have one. Most desktops don't come with one.

9800GT can be fitted onto F672CR mobo??

You'll need to look at the power requirements for the Nvidia 9800GT, which requires a minimum system power of 400W with a maximum graphics card power of 105W, and see if the power output for the F672CR can give that.

I will buy new graphics card ati radeon 5670 that need 400 w.. on my power supply says max 305 w and peak 400w... i dont know whats right.. does it have 305 w or 400w?

Hi karban0
It means your power unit could deliver max 400W in extreme conditions but only for a very short while ( one or two seconds or even less ) .
So , you could encounter great difficulties to get your pc running smoothly under heavy conditions , especially if you are a fervent game fan .
It would be wise to replace your power unit by one of a larger wattage . This is very easy and relatively cheep operation .

Optiplex gx820 can i connect 300 watt power supply

You listed GX820 and GX260.

I am assuming you meant the GX260.

There are three varieties of the Gx260.

1) The SFF (Small Form Factor) power supplies can be replaced, but I know of no upgrades for these.

2) For the SDT (Small Desk Top), you can get up to a 270 (best I have seen).

Example of where to get one.

For the Mini Tower, here is an example of a 400W replacement. There may be others for this model.

I have a GX280 Mini Tower and recently upgraded my PSU to one very similar to the one above.

This nvidia GEForce 6150SE integrated graphics card on my emachines ET1331G-07w isnt cutting it even for the simplest of games like Total War. Any suggestion on an upgrade that would fit this PC? Dont...

Most of the Geforce 9 series would suit, but you really need to know the wattage of your PSU. Idealy you should have 500w for some of the more basic cards.

How do I check to see what my power supply is, so I can upgrade proper graphics card

Hi,

You will have to remove the side panel of the tower to expose the motherboard. The PSU (power supply unit) is above the motherboard.
If you read the information on the PSU, you will find out how many watts it is, for example 350W, 400W, 450W and so on.

If your wanting to put in a powerful graphics card to run games like GTA4 or Need for Speed Shift then you will need a power supply no less than 550-600W

Make sure you get a Dell power supply as standard PSU's don't fit in a Dell case.

Regards.

Graphics Card Card

you should be fine with the PSU that you have currently got but i would recommend upgrading it to something above 400W.

there is a graphics card i would recommend which is a Sapphire ATi Radeon HD 2600 PRO. you can look it up here.

it will support dual monitor at 1080p which uses two DVI.
