Question about Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5000 Laser
I have been using a logitech 3200 Keybord & Mouse with AutoCAD 2008 & 2009 and have been having major problems with the LOCKED VIEWPORTS drifting to the in Left. This should be impossible as the Viewport is DISPLAY LOCKED and the layer is LOCKED. We had 2 PC's using this Keyboard & Mouse and have had to abondon them and use traditional Keyboard & Mice which work perfectly, although they don't have the functions of your keyboard. This is not a minor fault when you are working complex drawings and requires constant checking.
The keyboard & mice work perfectly apart from that.
Try to disable the "zoom" slider on the left side of the keyb.. (do this in the Setpoint software, coming with the keyb). I have heard of similar strange things happen in other programs when the slider it "graced by accident", (but I do not know AutoCAD 2008/9)
First of, check the batteries in keyb. If prob persists, try to move your USB reciever away from the computer. It sounds like the signal is distorted by electrical radiation. It could also be that your USB bus on your PC is overloaded, in which case an extra PCI USB card would do wonders. You can check this by moving some other USB devices, and see if it helps.
Good luck !
