Bro i also have se w200i , it support 2gb card , just do as i directed , according to your problem i think there must be problem with your mmc tray . Try replacing the tray , probably your memory card is good! , but noise in playback result as corrupt phone firmware, try flashing your mobile!

I also have the same problem but i solved this problem. The problem occurs in duplicate memory cards i Buy sandisk memory card and all the problems are solved. So,you should buy a sandisk or certified company memory card.

My mobile keeps on saying 'Connecting to PC' and the charge drains out very fast. Iam not able to go to the menu screen also

Dear user,

Looks like a virus problem. switch of Bluetooth (keep out of wifi zone) on all neighboring phones and computers and see what the phone does if it behaves the same,

connect it in pen drive mode though an USB cable to a PC and format the clear the memory card of all unwanted files and also from internal memory if visible on PC ( try formatting card as last step if clearing selected files does not work)

When iam opening memory card in nokia 3110c it is saying memory card not formatted operation failed.please guide me what to do

Hi, problem can solved. When a memory card says formatted operation failed,it means the memory has been affected with VIRUSin it,thats why it's not given you access to get into it.
What you will need to do is to format it.

You can use your phone to format the memory card by going to the option of the memory card and click on format memory card.
Also you can use a PC to format the memory card by using a memory card reader. insert the memory card inside the card reader and connect to your PC, click on my computer, you will seethe memory card icon displayed, right click on the mouse for options to come up, and click on format memory card and you done.

Note: When trying to format and it does not format the memory card, that means the VIRUS that affected the memory has damaged it totally, that means you will have to get a replacement memory card.

Thanks for using fixya....

I am using w200 with 1GB M2.There is some unwanted noice while playing songs also sometimes playback fails.

dear sir,

this is not a big issue....what happened is,you have deleted few music files from your file manager and it is not being deleted from the playlist, actually the file is not in your mobile or memory card, but the file name is there in the playlist,so when you play music, the files which are present in the mobile is being played and the files which are not there when being played gives you the playblack failed code....

just go to the walkman menu,go to playlist and delete the files which are not in your mobile.....thank you for using fixya.

take care

Nokia 3110 phone not switching on...

Hello sameer,

Are you using a 1GB memory card? If so please check after removing the memory card. If it solves the problem, then the problem will be with the memory. Replace the 1GB memory card with a 512 GB memory card. This will solve your issue.

Thanks,
Sanju

Sony ericsson w200i mp3 playback problem

I was facing the exact same problem with my W200i. I formatted my memory card using the "Quick Format " option and then re-uploaded my songs. That solved my problem. There is no disturbance in between songs now, also the "Playback Failed" error has also not occurred again.

It could be that your phone memory is full or close to being full. The phone needs a certain amount of memory to operate.
