Question about Dell Latitude C600 Notebook
How can i get track ball to enable as which i have been looking everywhere on control panel then mouse but i dont see track ball setting there... which means do i have to install track ball by between g,h,b marble, my laptop is Dell latitude C500,C600 help me
Check the settings in the bios to enable the track ball. Most of the time that is where it is enabled or disabled. You can also check Dell's support website for additional software that may allow you to configure additional settings (similar to IBM/Lenovo Thinkpads).
I don't recall the specific key to press to get into the bios, its either F1, F2, F10. You need to do this from a cold start when the laptop is off. Press the power button and when you see the Dell logo, look for the bios settings key to press or press one of them that I suggested. Sometimes this may go by quick so you need to be quick about it as well.
Hope this helps!
