possible that the phone has hung up because there are errors in the software. So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. If the phone hangs up then it is confirmed that the software is corrupt and will need a reinstallation. Seeking help from the authorized service /support centre is most ideal. Take estimate and decide.
Problems like this occurs mostly due to the memory of the phone. You have to double check the capacity of the phone memory with Samsung customer service. Or you can chcek on the specifications of this phone.
I am afraid there can be a plethora of possible problems here. But I recommend trying a few things before going to your dealer. First, try removing the battery and replacing it. Second, I recommend quality battery care. Read the owners manual for how to maintain your battery. It may be helpful to allow your battery to run all the way down. Then recharge it to full (but do not overcharge your batter). Then run it all the way down again. Third try replacing the battery or having a second one handy. Fourth, try removing any programs you added and then reinstall them one at a time. Finally, IF ALL ELSE FAILS try a Master Reset. Remember that a master reset will delete everything you have added to your phone. To do this you need to go to Start, System Tools, Master Reset. Good luck.
either you will have to get gprs service from ur network provider and get neccessary settings from them only..... or you can use your internet connection of ur pc with ur phone, if it does have a network card..(compatible with vista with windows mobile device center)..
I have had the same problem... twice. First time I held down some keys just trying desperately to get it to come back to life. Well I hit the right combination for a hard reset. So I lost all my data.
Second time I took my phone into the Sprint Store across from Sprint HQ in KC. The only thing they knew to do was a hard reset.
I'm suspicious since I was having trouble removing my battery the second time, that my battery's position may have caused some type of short. Still searching.
