Go to services and make sure the Print spooler and RPC services are started
Go to start-control panel-printer and faxes and make sure the printer is showing as ready and has a tick mark on it. You can right click on the printer and set it as default printer.

Go to the printer properties and make sure there is no print in the queue.

If even after this the printer is not communicating, uninstall and reinstall the printer. If you need any further help let me know.

Thanks.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

suspect battery problems. THe positive terminal developes a hard black coating inside the lead terminal and around the battery post Remove this using rough sand papaer to a shiny finish on both units . Repeat the operation on the negative terminal. Try the starter again. If still nothing turn on the head lights try again noticing if the head lights go dim. IF they do check if the battery is charged OK then you have a problem in the starter motor IF it works some times and not at others you probably have a dead bar on the communator which means a replacement s-motor

Check alternator voltage at back of alternator ( big wire ), if you have no less then 13.5 volt's, alternator is ok, check for blown alternator fuse or break at wire from back of alternator to starter then to battery, could be a bad fuse link at starter.

I just had my computer serviced and cleared of virus. Now computer wont activate to communicate with printer. I've already tried everything suggested by the display. Computer has recognised the printer but...

delete the printer icon from the printer display window and reinstall.

you will need the driver CD that came with the printer if the printer model is not in the Windows printer install list.

check the usb cable, or plug and unplug it and see if that does the trick, if you are using a ciss, take the cartridges out for a minute then put them back in, or try unplugging the printer from the wall outlet for a few minutes and plug it back

Wont prit

reboot the computer and the printer..
then try to do a "Print Test Page"..if it still does not print, turn off the computer again, unplug the printer from the back of the computer ( I assume it's connected via USB), then plug the printer on a different usb slot on the computer.. you may have to re-install the drivers. make sure you have the cd for the printer.

Hope this helps.

My printer wan print

Nothing wrong with the printer, the problem with the driver, try to renistall the driver again, and check if the cable is plugged good (if its usb plug out and then you will hear the sound on the pc) or if its network cable you will see the network card linking green or yellow. if there is no problem with cable will be the driver.

Print function is out of service Code F9-00

F9-00 - Printer board problems
You've got a Communations error between the ICU PWB & the PRT PWB. This should work if brds and connectors are okay, try simulation 14-0 to reset.
Then I'd start checking harness's & connectors. Unless of course it's blown board.....then call service tech.
