Go to control panel, double click on add hardware. another pop up window will open. From the selection, choose Yes, I have already installed hardware (something like that), click next and it will give you choices for each hardware. scroll down to these selections until you see the hardware named Acer crystal eye webcam. keep going until you're done. let me know the result.
Right click computer (my computer) go to device manager, delete (not disable) the webcam driver. Rebot the system, and let it restore the driver. If you have the driver disk, insert it into the CDROM drive before rebooting.
if the appropriate driver installed then the camera option comes on the my computer windows at the bottom. it means the appropriate camera driver is not installed choose the right one from list or install it from the cd come with ur laptop
If you go to your start menu, look for a programme called 'acer crystal eye webcam' and that will bring up your webcam programme.
It is not in the folder 'Acer crystal eye webcam' though, just 'Crystal eye webcam'.
