Where can i download sound drivers for intel dual cpu e2169

i was not aware of sound drivers for CPUs
sound drivers are only needed for sound devices such as sound cards, if you have onboard sound on your motherboard then you need to download drivers for that board.

if you have a seperate soundard installed you need to find out the name of that device and find drivers for it.
try using device manger if you have windows installed, or read the device model number and search the net.

I hope this was helpful

I can t install sound card for Presario C700 run with XP thanks

assuming that you are referring to the sound device that is built in into your system, all you need to do is to install the sound device driver. to ge the sound driver do as follows:

1. found your model number (usually located at the bottom of the laptop)
2. go to this website and find your model number and click on that specific link.
3. then on the next page, select the driver language (use the same one already on you operating system installation) and then select below the operating system your have installed.
4. look for the sound category and attempt to download the most recent sound driver.

if you are not able to find the driver you need. go here and get hp to talk to you to provide the download page for your driver needed, also provide us or them more details and we may be able to assist further.

Has the audio driver been installed?
To check the audio driver to see if it is enabled and working.
Go to Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager - Click on Sound to expand the list. then right click on the sound device and click on Properties.
If the sound driver is not installed the you need to download and install the audio driver.
You need to download the drivers from the Compaq/HP WEB support/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the XP or Vista Windows version of the drivers you require and install them. Use this link to download the drivers :-

Go back to device manager. The devices that you see that have a problem. Right click on the device than un-install the device. You will need the motherboard's driver for these device. In order to find the correct device driver's I'll need the boards model number & any revision's. Than I can direct you to the correct download site. Above you state it's a Gigbyte. The more detailed information you post the better the driver.
