It doesn't work on battery

Issue with your Hard Disk Possibility of bad sector ..on the primary sector... So Download Partiion Magic and Re- Partionnate your Har drive and Re install you windows

Two cans of compressed air can work wonders. I usually use both cans at the same time, just take the laptop outside and spray away. Make sure it's off, of course ;)

That is common with Toshiba. Check to see if your fans are running. Also, there may be a lot of dust, hair, etc inside the laptop causing it to heat up. I recommend buying a laptop cooler. I got mine for $10 and I never have over heating problems anymore. Hope that helps:)

Mine did this and I thought it was overheating and vacumed the back vents. This fixed the problem.

the issue is likely thermal shutdown (it got to hot) listen to establish whether the fan(s) are working. you will need to take it apart to gain access to the fan area to clean out the dust and dirt.

on the front of the laptop the normally is a switch that turns the wireless off and on if it is on you will see a wirless icon lite up on the end or bottom of your pc

Problem solved. Lap top stripped apart and that little line of dust got cleared out and now the laptop works as if new. Thanks to the website I posted above that shows how to safely dismantle the A75-S211.

My Satellite A75 was also shutting down unexpectedly. The problem was overheating. I sprayed compressed air into the vent openings on the back of the computer to blow the dust and dirt, and then used a vacuum cleaner on the fans on the bottom to **** it all out. This solved my problem.
