Try pullling the battery out for 10-20 seconds. PUt it back in, and press and hold the power button for 5-7 seconds. Until it lights up. If it doesn't light up, or doesn't respond, nor makes any noice. Test the battery with another RAZR. Or, if you have another battery, test with another battery. To narrow it down to whether its a phone or a battery issue.
Plus, you wanna make sure the phone is shut down once a day for about 10-50 seconds. To refresh it.
hi, we have the same problem with the same motorola unit.. i've cause a lot of money looking for the solution on this problem & the best thing was i got a solution on it. 1st suggestion is look for a expert technician that will reformat your v3x then ask the tech to check your camera and the ribbon if there is a defect, 2nd, let the tech diagnos your phone to look for the correct problem of your phone.. This thing happen to me already & thanks for the great technician i got & he make my v3x unit as good as new again.. never stick to one technician, always ask the opinion of the another technician, this is the best thing i did..
