Speedtouch box won't connect to internet
Hi I have a thomson speedtouch box to connect to the internet, it suddenly stopped working the other night and I havn't been able to get back on since, it is on but the 'internet' light isn't and it says my connection is down....?

- I have the same problem. My computer is confirming that all is connected but I cannot download emails etc as it says there is no connection to the server. Contacted my ISP they said there nothing wrong with the line. Green internet connection light just keeps blinking. - sandragrovesNov 01, 2008
- I have similar problem with Speedtouch 330 and new Speedtouch ST510v6 modem/router supplied by Tesco Broadband in ther UK. Sudden loss of connection on 28th August 2008, continuing failure to connect since then. Have just posted this problem on Fixya. On both devices (330 and ST510)DSL light flashes green for 10 seconds then solid for 10 seconds, repeating this cycle. Speedtouch 330 modem gives error 0619 "A connection to remote computer could not be established" after it has made 3 attempts (Event 0006) at verifying username and password. Have tried everything suggested by Tesco Broadband - different ADSL filters, different PC etc. They checked the line which appeared OK. I'm going to ask Tesco tech support to ask BT to check their authentication server. Does this look like your problem?- RogerStead
