Seems to have frozen after removing a paper jam

Hi, I removed a paper jam and now I am experiencing problems with turning it on and if I do get it on, it just does not want to print. I have the middle light on at the same time as the on button. The paper feed button does not work. I comes up with an error when I try to print to it. - help!

Please explain: when you push the ON/OFF button:
1) the green light will go on and remain on or
2) it will blink and go off after a short time ?
In case 2), remove the rear door and put it again in place correctly (make sure it is well seated in place).
If the door is not installed correctly, the printer will refuse to switch on.

Paper is stuck/jammed on the drum and I am having difficulty removing the d rum unit and toner

Hi lbestu,

Please Read Tip Carefully :-

Tip: To manually remove paper pull on the paper with both hands being careful not to tear the paper while pulling it. If you're unable to get to an edge of the paper that allows you to pull it you may need to manually rotate the gears that feed the paper through the printer.

1.Turn off the printer.
2.Inspect the location or tray the printed paper ejects to. If the stuck paper is visible manually remove it.
3.Remove all paper trays and any paper that may be stuck between the tray and the printer. If the stuck paper is visible manually remove it.
4.Open the printer door that allows you access to the printer ink cartridges or toner and look for any stuck paper. If the stuck paper is visible manually remove it
5.Turn the printer back on. If you continue to receive a printer jam error try repeating the above steps again. If issue still persist and you see no paper that is stuck in the printer it's likely your printer is experiencing another hardware issues and we suggest contacting the printer manufacturer for additional assistance or repair

Error Light does not turn off!

Hi, it sounds like your printer experiencing a hardware failure thats why the error light still on. The sensor that detects paper jam or any obstruction might be defective. Aside from that your printer may also experienced a motion carriage error. You can to power cycle the printer & check ink cartridge. if the error still present your printer might be needed to be send to the nearest Epson Service center.
